We do not have a set hourly art rate like most other shops around. Here’s why: IT’S A RIP OFF! Something that could take another shop’s art person an hour (and $45/hr fee) to create will probably take us a lot less time. Joe has been an artist in the industry for a long time, and has developed the skills to get great looking art done quickly. Might as well pass that benefit on to you. The best approach is to consult with Joe about your needs and agree on a fee that is fair for both of us. We want your business, and will do whatever it takes to make your project a successful one.
ART SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
-
Ideal art is vector art created in Adobe Illustrator.
-
The next best option is high resolution artwork created with Adobe Photoshop, preferably with resolution at 300 dpi.
-
For most cases, downloaded from the internet should be avoided. Internet images are usually set for screen resolution, which is 72 dpi and way too low for good, clean looking artwork. There can be exceptions, however. The best approach is to talk with Joe and see what options best fit your project. Truth is, after more than 3 decades of dealing with crappy art, Joe has developed the skills to make things work and polish just about any art turd that floats his way.
-
Create your art at full size. The average full size image is 11 -13" wide for an adult garment and 9" wide for youth. An average left chest imprint is 3.5-4" wide. We can also accommodate oversize images as well, depending on what garment you're printing on, etc.. If you're not sire about what works best for your project, just ask Joe.
-
If using Illustrator or Corel, don't forget to convert your fonts to outlines or curves. It also helps to submit a .jpg of your images, just to make sure nothing funky happens.
-
Providing color separations in not necessary. We prefer to separate your art based on how we like to print. Nothing personal.
-
If typesetting is required, it helps if you know the names of the fonts you would like to use. If not, we will match fonts as close as possible.
-
Please label your artwork with your NAME and PLACEMENT (Front, Back, Left Chest, Sleeve, Etc.)
-
Large files (anything over 15-20 megabytes) should be sent via Dropbox or comparable service.
-
If using Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, don't forget to convert your fonts to outlines or curves. It also helps to submit a .jpg of your images, just to make sure nothing funky happens.
-
Designate your desired ink colors. If your project requires Pantone matching, be sure to include corresponding PMS numbers. There is a $12 ink matching fee for all PMS colors.
-
Submit your art in any of the following formats: .ai or .eps, (make sure your entire image is on the artboard!) .jpg, .bmp, png, .tif, or .psd,

THREE SIMPLE STEPS TO FANTASTIC LOOKING GRAPHICS AND TEES.
Call, text, or email us today! Everything starts with a simple conversation. You talk... We listen. If you already have a vision for your design, that's great! We can work
from a rough idea or a sketch to bring your idea to life. You may also have artwork that was created for you from a favorite artist. That's great too! We live in a city
with so many creative, talented artists, and we love working with them. Either way, get us your idea and vision, and we will create something that will fit your project to a T. (see what we just did there?)
Check out what we've done! This step is the fun one! This is when we show you what we've come up with based on our consultation with you. This is a great starting point. Your feedback in this step is vital to getting your artwork dialed in exactly how you envisioned it, or in most cases, better than you imagined! Because we have been doing this for so long, we have developed the skills to translate your idea into something that is bold, beautiful, and makes a statement for your project. We are happy to make revisions to get you exactly what you're looking for.
Let's see how great our collaboration looks! Once we've finished your design, we will ask you to sign off on a final mockup. It's often the case, but not always, that by now you have decided on the best tees or garment to fit your project and budget. We will mock up your images on the front and back of the exact shirts you've picked. This will give you a peek at exactly what your shirts will look like once they've been printed. Now is where we dial in your exact print location, design size and ink colors.
Once you give us the thumbs up, we're off to the presses!
HAVE YOUR SHIRTS DESIGNED FOR YOU BY A REAL ARTIST. NOT SOME GENERIC ONLINE DESIGN GENERATOR.
We're happy to report that we do all of our graphic design work in-house. That means you're not wasting your time fumbling around with a lame online design generator. Your small business logo, child's team, or whatever it is you're printing for is important. That's why it makes sense to have someone who cares as much as you do to guide you through the process. Printing and designing t shirts is not a complicated process. But knowing how to bring your vision to life in a way that fits your garment choice, budget and aesthetic requires some skill. We take great pride in having that to offer!
